Illustrations for IGARKIZUNAK written by Xabier Etxaniz.
BACK-COVER BLURB from fifth edition
This is a book of five hundred riddles. The author has collected these riddles from many sources, as can be seen in the bibliography at the back of the book. But what is a riddle? "Each riddle is a small mystery, a mystery that we must explain, decipher, with our own wisdom, imagination and intelligence." Great importance was given to the illustration when creating this book. This is not a book made just to read, but also to delight the eyes. Thanks to the skillful hand of Jesus Lucas, this book seems to be alive.
